eGA shares the experience of e-governance cooperation in Bogota, Columbia

 

eGA Program Director Nele Leosk takes part in the 3rd International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV) in Bogota, Columbia on 13-16 November, 2009.
 
The conference is promoted by the series of ICEGOV established by the United Nations University (UNU) through its Center for Electronic Governance. It aims to bring together practitioners, developers and researchers from government, academia, industry and non-governmental organizations to share the latest findings in the theory and practice of Electronic Governance.
 
Nele shares the experience of e-Governance Academy in planning an implementing cooperation initiatives in the area of e-governance both with Estonian and international partners and donors. Also, she gives and overview of e-participation development in Estonia, the available online possibilities and the lessons learnt.
