The President of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves opened Estonian-Palestina x-Road cooperation project, implemented by e-Governance Academy.

Estonian-Palestina  cooperation project about x-Road, implemented by e-Governance Academy was oponed on 29th of June by  the President of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Prime Minister of Palestina, Salam Fayyad,.
 
As Estonian President said at opening ceremony, the buildig of modern, efficient state is as important for Palestina on it’s way developing indipendent country as gaining international praise. Also in poor circumstances, it is possible to implement different e-state solutions, which can increase the trust of citizens towards their state and goverment.
 
The objective of the project is to train and prepare state officials of Palestina for implementig digital data exchange. In this field (services of x-Road), Estonia has got  one of the longest and most remarkable experience in the world.
 
The project is coordinated and implemeted by Estonian e-Governance Academy and financed by Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
