Iraq shows interest in Estonian e-governance experience

eGA Program Director Nele Leosk took part in the Iraq e-governance conference in Baghdad on 20-21 December to give an overview of the Estonian e-governance development. During two days, she introduced the reasons for the successful implementation of ICTs in Estonia, our interoperability framework, e-services as well as initiatives that boost Internet penetration in Estonia. The future cooperation between Iraq and Estonia was under discussion and most likely, the representatives of the Government will visit Estonia soon.
