eGA starts cooperation with the Regional Centre of e-Governance Development in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea

eGA Director Arvo Ott and Program Directors Liia Hänni and Nele Leosk participate in the roundtable «Current state and prospects of e-governance development: Autonomous Republic of Crimea as a pilot region” that is hold on April, 16-17 2009 in the Regional Centre for e-Governance Development in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The roundtable is aimed to discuss the current state and prospects of e-governance development both at national and regional level in Ukraine, in particular in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and elaborate ideas for further cooperation between the Centre for e-Governance Initiatives in Kyev, Regional Centre for in Governance in Sudak and e-Governance Academy in Estonia.
The roundtable is attended by central and national executive bodies, including representatives of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, Council of Ministers, State Committee of Information, Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, Office of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, the representatives of local governments, business structures and NGOs.
